June 21, 2010 – Luncheon meeting at Elizabeth Manor-our guest will be Jamie Conkling, the Executive Director of the Virginia State Golf Association in Richmond.
July 19, 2010 - Luncheon meeting at Elizabeth Manor. Our guest will be Wayne Gomes, founder of Virginia Baseball Academy. Wayne is also a former pitcher for ODU and the Detroit Tigers.
August 16, 2010 - Luncheon meeting at Elizabeth Manor. I have asked Bobby Ross to speak at this meeting. At this time, I am waiting for his response. Bobby was a football coach at VMI, The Citadel, Georgia Tech and the San Diego Chargers.
OTHER NEWS AND UPDATES
Nominating Committee chair Richard Wentz will present the slate of officers and directors at the May 17, 2010 general meeting. There will be a vote that day to accept this slate of officers and directors. The new officers and directors take office on July 1, 2010.
